International Rally of Whangarei brought to you by Mark Cromie Motor Group welcomes fans

The government’s announcement on Wednesday confirming the removal of gathering limits on outdoor events means International Rally of Whangarei brought to you by Mark Cromie Motor Group will be able to run largely without restriction.

Organisers have confirmed the popular Pohe Island Super Special stage in downtown Whangarei has been added to the schedule with the event kicking off on Friday night with two runs through the iconic stage.

It also means there won’t be restrictions on stages for spectators and tickets will go on sale later this week via the Eventfinda website.

The removal of vaccine passport requirements and mandates means all rally fans will be able to enjoy the event.

International Rally of Whangarei begins on Friday May 13 and will see competitors tackles stages north and south of the city on Saturday May 14 and Sunday May 15.

It is the second round of the Brian Green Property Group New Zealand Rally Championship.
