Major Driver Announcement: Hayden Paddon

Hayden Paddon has confirmed his entry into the 2021 International Rally of Whangarei brought to you by Mark Cromie Motor Group. The 2019 event champion is hoping to repeat his success from two years ago at Whangarei, and is also looking for a spot in the 2021 Asia Pacific Rally Championship Final in Coffs Harbour, Australia in November.

Paddon will compete at both Rally Otago and Whangarei, vying for one of the top three spots across both events based on points, guaranteeing him a spot at the APRC Final.

Paddon will also be promoting his Hyundai Kona EV rally car at the event, which will be on display at Mark Cromie Motor Group on Thursday 13 May, and on show at Shakedown, Pohe Island on Friday 14 May.

Paddon will have his Paddon’s Pack merchandise available to purchase on event, and there will be several opportunities to meet him up close – at the Ten4 Pohe Island Super Special Stage Opening Ceremony on Fri 14 May, and at the Hikurangi refuels on Sat 15 May.

Tickets to the event go on sale on Monday 15 March via Eventfinda.
